The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the orange alert for heavy rains in the interior of the province of A Coruña and in the center of the province of Lugo.
In the case of A Coruña, the orange alert is activated from 9:00 p.m. this Tuesday. Meanwhile, in Lugo, it will be from midnight between this Tuesday and Wednesday, with accumulated precipitation in an hour of 30 liters per square meter.
The rest of the province of A Coruña and Pontevedra are also on yellow alert from 9:00 p.m. this Tuesday, while in the whole of Galicia it will be yellow from midnight.
The Xunta has thus activated the alert and has notified affected municipalities, councils, Civil Protection services, and yacht clubs.
