Specifically, the orange alerts will be in place in Zaragoza (Aragon) for heat, in Barcelona and Girona (Catalonia) for storms, and in Álava and Vizcaya (Basque Country) again for storms. The rest of the heat alerts will be in Cordoba, Granada, Jaén, and Seville (Andalusia); Huesca and Teruel (Aragon); Burgos (Castilla y León); Lleida (Catalonia); Badajoz (Extremadura); and Ribera del Ebro in La Rioja (La Rioja).

Apart from this, there will also be yellow alerts for rain in Barcelona and Girona (Catalonia); and for storms in the Ribera del Ebro in La Rioja and the Riojan Iberian region (La Rioja); Guipúzcoa (Basque Country); Central Navarra, Navarre Pyrenees, and Ribera del Ebro in Navarra (Navarra); Lleida (Catalonia).
Likewise, there will also be alerts for storms in Burgos, León, Palencia, Segovia, Soria, and Valladolid (Castilla y León); Cantabrian coast, Liébana, Central and Villaverde Valley and Ebro Cantabria (Cantabria); eastern coast of Asturias, Central and Mining Valleys and Cordillera and Picos de Europa (Principality of Asturias); and Teruel (Aragon). Additionally, Cádiz (Andalusia) will be on alert for rough seas.
AEMET has indicated that a cold drop will approach from the west tomorrow, likely transitioning into an isolated cold low and causing increased instability, with medium and high cloudiness from early hours. This will affect the southern half, but will tend to spread northwards. From noon onwards, the development of evolving cloudiness will bring storms to large areas of the northern Iberian Peninsula, southern plateau, and southeastern mountain ranges.
Furthermore, it is expected that the storms will become severe and be accompanied by hail and very strong gusts in extensive areas of the northern Iberian Peninsula. In this regard, it is also likely that there will be heavy showers in western Galicia, the Cantabrian region, the upper Ebro, the Iberian Peninsula, and the Pyrenees.
In the islands, mostly clear skies or intervals of high clouds without precipitation will prevail, with intervals of low clouds in the north of the Canary Islands. Additionally, there may be morning fog in Galicia and the Cantabrian region, with haze in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
As for temperatures, the state agency has indicated that maximum temperatures will rise in Mediterranean areas, the northernmost part, and the northeastern third of the peninsula, notably in areas of the Cantabrian region. There will be decreases in the southern plateau and westernmost regions, with no changes elsewhere.
Within this framework, temperatures will exceed 34-36ºC in large areas of the southern peninsula, the northern plateau, depressions in the northeast, and even in valleys in the northwest and points in the eastern Cantabrian region. In fact, it is likely to reach 38-40ºC in valleys of Andalusia and the northeast. In the Peninsula, minimum temperatures will drop in the southwest third and increases will prevail elsewhere, notably in the north-central region.
Moreover, the forecast indicates that moderate winds are expected with probable strong gusts from the northeast on the coasts of Galicia and the southeastern peninsula, as well as easterly winds in the Strait of Gibraltar and trade winds in the Canary Islands. Elsewhere, light winds with a predominance of southerly and easterly components are forecast, moderate in the Cantabrian region and likely to strengthen during the afternoon in the southern and western peninsular regions.
