Sindicatos piden al conselleiro de Sanidade reforzar negociación en mesa sectorial

Request to expand the staff of the Dirección Xeral de RRHH and greater agility in dialogue on the plan of organization and the upcoming OPE

Four days after filing a document to hold an «urgent» meeting, representatives of the unions present at the sectorial table (CIG, CSIF, CCOO, and UGT) held a meeting this Friday at noon with the conselleiro of Sanidade, Antonio Gómez Caamaño, to ask him to strengthen negotiations with them on «key» issues that are «pending».

Representatives of the organizations consulted by Europa Press agree that there was a «good disposition» on the part of the head of the Consellería, who has «committed» to improving dialogue, but they will remain «expectant» to see if this materializes.

Among the topics that have been «waiting for months» to be addressed in this negotiation body are, for example, the human resources organization plan and the upcoming selection processes and transfer competitions.

Additionally, they requested an expansion of staff at the Dirección Xeral de Recursos Humanos, something to which –according to the version of the unions– the conselleiro would have committed.

As they already stated last Monday when they filed the document to request the meeting, the unions see that the relationship with the Administration has «deteriorated» in the last year, since the entire team changed after the arrival of Gómez Caamaño.

«THERE IS CLEARLY A PARALYSIS»

The national secretary of CIG-Saúde, Manuel G. Moreira, explained to Europa Press that there is «clearly a paralysis» in the sectorial table or that «most of the issues» addressed in the last year in it «barely have an impact on the working conditions» of the workers at Sergas.

«There are key issues, such as the human resources organization plan, which would have a real impact on professionals, but that is not being addressed,» Moreiras said about this document that the conselleiro had indicated April as the deadline for its presentation.

The CIG representative also requested that people from the Consellería with real negotiating capacity and commitment to proposals attend the meetings of the table for them to be «truly productive.»

LISTS THAT «EXPIRE»

«We felt that this Consellería was bypassing the sectorial table,» said the president of CSIF Sanidad in Galicia, Carlos Castro, who complained that the Xunta had launched some initiatives –such as the instruction for MIRs to return to consultations in the summer– without negotiating with workers’ representatives.

Likewise, CSIF calls for expediting the work of the permits and licenses table to unify criteria in all healthcare areas, and the negotiation of selection processes, as there are temporary selection lists «that expire on June 30» after being valid for three years.

The head of health at CCOO Galicia, Luz Fernández Tuñas, appreciates the «good disposition» of the conselleiro, but insists that it has been «a year» since the negotiation priorities were put on the table «and nothing is closed.»

So, although Gómez Caamaño promised more fluidity in dialogue with the unions, Fernández Tuñas leaves with an «expectant attitude.»
