Facundo Medard and Alba Raso won the XVI Baixada Popular de Cross de San Pedro de Visma, the third race of the Coruña Corre popular running circuit, which took place this morning with the participation of more than a thousand people. In the men’s category, Nuno Moure finished second and Abdelaziz Fatihi third. In the women’s discipline, Inés Papín and Noelia Souto completed the podium.
A total of seven races were held this morning in San Pedro de Visma. The race followed the road to Bens to the park, where the majority of the race took place before returning along the same route. The Councilor for Sports, Manuel Vázquez, participated in the start of the absolute category and in the subsequent trophy presentation. «From the Government of Inés Rey, we continue to support this circuit, the best in Galicia for popular races, which is one of the pillars of our Sports area for promoting healthy lifestyle habits,» Vázquez said.
